Typically, a patient will establish a consultation with Wilner Medical to discuss the various treatments and electro-shockwave technologies available. Wilner Medical will then provide a complete physical examination (focusing on the area in question), offer an informed diagnosis, and discuss all available and appropriate options.

Although non-invasive electro-shockwave therapy is Wilner Medical's core approach to treating orthopedic and soft tissue conditions, in some instances, a "conservative" or "conventional" course of treatment may be required. This may include one or more of the following:

Diagnostic tests such as Electromyography (EMG)

This course of treatment may be needed before, or even instead of, electro-shockwave therapy. In some cases, a patient's insurance carrier may obligate the patient to undergo conventional treatment for up to 6 months prior to receiving shockwave therapy.

In either case, from the time of the patient's initial consultation, Wilner Medical will develop and apply an appropriate medical regimen. Most importantly, Wilner Medical will provide a complete course of action - conventional or otherwise, all in a single treatment center.
